This freeze-resistant emergency shower and eyewash unit is engineered to operate reliably in extremely cold environments. A self-regulating electric heat trace cable runs along the internal eyewash piping, continuously supplying controlled heat to prevent water from freezing. To further enhance thermal protection, the exterior is covered with a 25 mm thick insulation layer and enclosed by a green UV-resistant protective shell, reducing heat loss while shielding the system from outdoor exposure.
This multi-layer freeze protection system allows the unit to function normally at ambient temperatures down to -34.4 °C. It is well suited for cold-region applications such as outdoor industrial facilities, northern workshops, and exposed work zones where conventional emergency equipment would be vulnerable to freezing.
In terms of structure and performance
The Freeze-Resistant Emergency Shower and Eyewash Unit uses 1-1/4" diameter 304 stainless steel pipes, plus stainless steel base/basin and all-stainless-steel eyewash/face wash nozzles/shower head, providing dual protection against corrosion and freezing.
Its eyewash valve push plate and shower valve lever are easy to operate, and the water flow is even.
